Shelter

This shelter provides rest and care for addicts families. As addiction is an illness, it effects the whole family.

Often addiction brings great stress, heartache and sometimes violence to not only the addicts themselves but also their familiy too. This shelter we felt was required to provide a place of peace and tranquility to all, and to also provide support and training in drug dependence. Please feel free to use the shelter.

Location :

Located 1 and a half hours from Tokyo the shelter is surrounded by mountains and nature. It is a large complex providing meals, rest and care for families.

Use :

Expenses ( per person, per day )

APARI member : 3000 yen

Non member : 5000 yen

( These prices include food, accomodation and the program expenses).

Depending on availability any number of days stay is possible. Long term stays are also available depending on individual situation.
If accompanied by children only the cost prices are charged, for example food.

Program :

Relaxation.
Group session and meeting.
Introduction and participation in self help group.
Individual interview and counseling.
Occupational Therapy ( Ceramic Arts Program ).
Addiction information studies.
Recreation ( Fellowship ).
Others

This program is coordinated and organised depending on individual hopes and needs and is therefore flexible. Our only wish is that you relax and take it easy.
